Adult turning classes

For over 10 year, COWA has taught classses at the Moore Norman Technology Center in Norman.  Beginning in January, 2025, the location for our classes is changing.  Classes will now be held at the Kinvene Makers Space in downtown Oklahoma City.    The address is 821 W. California, Oklahoma City, OK.

Classes are open to all members of the community age 18 or older.  You do not need to be a member of COWA to participate in these classes.  Prior turning experience is not a required but may prove useful in our Advanced Classes which are held in the winter/spring.

To register for a class, choose from the classes listed below.  All classes are on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.  A pizza lunch is included in the cost of the class.  Each student will have their own lathe and all tools and supplies will be provided.  Each student will have a COWA club member to assist them.  Classes are limited to no more than 10 students.
